This is the first time the LS400 and ISF have met. I smiled the entire time I drove the LS400 after having driven the ISF for 2 weeks. I’ll have to give a better comparison when I drive them back to back.
My parents have a shop(of course) and the car has sat there since then. My dad came by the house earlier tonight now that it’s 99% done and I took him and the dogs to their house and dropped him off.

Does anything live inside the garage?

Mandatory:
“Is that Matt Farah’s million-mile Lexus?”

Not yet. The cabinets from the kitchen that are going to get hung up in the garage take up too much space. I literally told the misses tonight getting the garage to a point I could park a car in it was my next goal.

It’s my 315,000 mile Lexus. but... I could be in contention for a sales job with one of the largest OE parts suppliers in the country and the ISF would get garage treatment while the LS400 gets back on the road. One can dream.

Good man. We gotta protect that ISF

I’ve already started the ISF vs LS400 comparison. In the meantime should I post a picture of our new chandelier and and pendant light?

After seeing how rediculously cheap LS300 and LS400's are on Craigslist I’ve been itching to drive one

Buy a LS430. If your Miata is anything like owning a ISF, you will be absolutely amazed at how smooth and boat like and relaxing driving a LS is.

Is that a bar?

Yeah that one

It is. That’s the single peice we’re not sure about. We really like the bar but the color is just too red. We might try to find tinted glass because the side is fine but the top is what gets too red because it reflects the light.

That sounds wonderful. The Miata is so... *involved* and raw. A smooth engine, somewhat luxurious cacoon sounds fantastic.
Whoops, I meant sc300 and sc400. Hmmm... LS...

Just get a LS. I was literally laughing while driving my LS for the first time in 2 weeks it was so different from my ISF which is still a Lexus and is still a revised 2011+ model(better suspension, interior etc)

I used my ‘87 300D to drive one of the first LS400s in the country back in the late 80s. It was a revelation (at that point I’d driven a couple newish S Classes and a BMW 7. Sure some of the switchgear was the same as in my ‘88 Camry wagon, but the car was as solid as anything I’ve ever driven. It was so quiet that you could not tell whether it was running. No mystery that so many of them are still on the road.
